Ioanna Mesimeri

Ioanna Mesimeri is the Deputy Head of the Corporate & Commercial Department at Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC, specialising in corporate, commercial, and trust law. She has been part of the firm since 2018, initially joining as a trainee lawyer before qualifying in 2019. Over the years, she progressed to Senior Associate/Manager and, since June 2025, has taken on the role of Deputy Head of the Department.

She advises local and international clients on a wide range of matters, including company structuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, trusts, contract drafting and negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

She holds an LLM in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London and an LLB in Law from the University of Leeds. She is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Limassol.

In addition to her legal practice, Ioanna Mesimeri is a certified trainer accredited by ANAD and delivers professional seminars on Anti-Money Laundering and corporate-related topics.

Fluent in Greek and English, she combines a solid academic background with practical expertise, delivering comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
