 Russian Speaking Immigration Specialist

Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is a law firm having its’ headquarters in Limassol and has been in service for over 30 years. We are looking to grow the team with the Immigration Specialist position to undertake the duties described below. Knowledge of Russian language will be considered a strong advantage.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle a portfolio of clients and be responsible for their ongoing immigration process;
  • Deal with any type of immigration permit;
  • Suggest accurate immigration options to clients and provide clear and precise guidance around the procedures;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and provide support or information, in a timely and professional manner;
  • Ensure that all applications, documentations, processes or renewals are correct and prepared within the timeframe agreed;
  • Prepare, review and submit any relevant documentation;
  • Liaise with governmental or other authorities;
  • Undertake any other relevant action to ensure the successful procedure’s completion;
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory frame.

Requirements

  • LLB or other University Degree;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of Russian language will be considered a strong advantage;
  • Speak and write fluently and professionally in English;
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates;
  • Ability to understand complicated contents and undertake complex tasks;
  • Excellent client’s management, communication and workplace ethics skills;
  • Maturity in handling confidential information.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the world of blockchain and NFTs
  • Deep familiarity with NFT and Crypto culture
  • Product strategy experience
  • Experience inf product management in a tech environment
  • Familiarity with development cycles in tech
  • Experience in managing teams and building a shared vision
  • Ability to interface and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in the gaming industry will be considered a bonus

Our client is operating in Limassol and for over 20 years is an active part of the global Finance team responsible for the Book-keeping and Compliance procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hold the accounting of companies in an international environment;
  • Manage entries in the accounting system;
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports;
  • Reconcile Balance sheet accounts;
  • Make payments through internet banking;
  • Prepare depreciation and prepaid schedules and journal entries;
  • Prepare electronic and hard copy filing of any kind of accounting, corporate and banking documents;
  • Work with multiple currencies in an international setting;
  • Participate to month end and year end closing;
  • Communicate with the accounting departments of the subsidiaries;
  • Participate in Ad hoc projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Accounting.
  • Higher or CAT or Bachelor in Accounting or related field. (LCCI, A’ Level Accounting).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Internet).
  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide assistance on the resolutions for the issuance of Power of Attorneys;
  • Liaising with the Registrar of Companies and any other governmental authorities;
  • Provide assistance for the incorporation of companies and other related tasks;
  • Manage the correspondence between the office and clients, associates or other authorities;
  • Update records in company’s computer systems and databases;
  • Review the company’s files and organise all necessary documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc or other certification or equivalent experience
  • Previous relevant experience is an advantage
  • Ability to speak and write fluently both in Greek and English
  • Be practical and efficient with the clients, work duties, colleagues, and other authorities
  • Ability to work methodically and have high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
