Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is actively seeking to fill the Senior Accountant position for its’ Accounting Department with an experienced and strong work ethic individual to provide support, guide and work closely with the team members and departments. We take professionalism and integrity seriously therefore we are looking for a team player to join and support us to meet the highest standards of our services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reconciling of payable and receivable accounts
  • Preparing daily bank balances
  • Ensuring that bank payments are done in a timely manner
  • Preparing and reviewing payroll on monthly basis
  • Receiving, reviewing and processing vendor’s invoices
  • Reviewing or/and executing payment Instructions
  • Processing of various journal entries and accruals
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts and inter-company transactions
  • Reconciliation of month end Accruals Account
  • Making bank reconciliation and related journal entries
  • Ensuring that all types of reporting within deadlines are met
  • Keeping attention to detail and support business objectives
  • Submission of VAT and VIES reports

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5-years of previous experience in a similar position
  • Speak and write fluently both in Greek and English
  • Maturity in handling confidential information
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, with good business judgment

Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is a law firm having its’ headquarters in Limassol for more than 30 years. We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our Law Firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the firm’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and providing technical support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the company’s systems, servers, and other cloud components.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes on premises and on the cloud (Azure, MS365, VMware)
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Perform or schedule regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Lead desktop support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Implementing and adding to the IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
  • Identify and acting on opportunities to improve and update IT systems.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Provides support, assists and trains employees regarding the use and functionality of various software systems or other related technologies.
  • Keeping abreast of technological developments and offering advice to the management on systems upgrading, improvement of services, reviewing offers and cost saving related to IT software and communications.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, Computer Architecture or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Preferably 2 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols
  • Knowledge of implementing IT operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • A strong desire to learn
  • Maturity in handling confidential information
