Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is a law firm having its’ headquarters in Limassol and has been in service for over 30 years.  We are now looking to fill an Associate Lawyer’s position in our Immigration Department. We take professionalism and integrity seriously therefore we need a strong team player to support us meet the highest standards of our services.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Handling a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the ongoing communication with them in a timely, kind and professional manner
  • Drafting and reviewing legal work and any other related legal document
  • Handling and/or supervising and/or monitoring related transactions
  • Advising and dealing with procedures around Permanent Residence Permit under Regulation 6 (2) and under Category F, Temporary Residence permit for non-EU nationals, Work Permit for non-EU nationals, MEU1, MEU 2 & MEU3
  • Providing effective immigration services and assist with the improvement of policies and procedures
  • Writing legal-related articles for publications.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience
  • Ability to speak and write fluently both in Greek and English
  • Be practical and efficient with the work duties, colleagues, clients and other authorities
  • Ability to forecast and resolve issues before arising
  • Commitment to professionalism

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant experience with the job responsibilities is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to complete several simultaneous projects on deadline.
  • Experienced in providing high-quality legal service to supervisors within a fast-paced environment.

Corporate Lawyer

Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is a law firm having its’ headquarters in Limassol for more than 30 years. We are looking to fill the Corporate Lawyer position for our Corporate Department. In this position you will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day legal procedures and you will provide law expertise on topics related to corporate and commercial law. We take professionalism and integrity seriously therefore we are looking for a strong candidate to support us meet the highest standards of our services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drafting and/or reviewing contracts, legal opinions, resolutions, power of attorneys and any other legal documents
  • Supervising, handling and monitoring various corporate transactions (i.e. merger and acquisitions)
  • Liaising with the Registrar of Companies and relevant governmental authorities
  • Handling a portfolio of clients, participate in meetings with them and provide effective and practical solutions or answers
  • Having an ongoing communication with clients, banks, and other relevant authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with AML regulations
  • Providing training to new team members, including new employee orientation training.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in a Law Firm or Corporate Service Provider in

            Corporate & Commercial Law related matters

  • Speak and write fluently and professionally both in Greek and English
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates
  • Willingness to take initiative and take the extra mile to understand and handle advanced corporate transactions.
  • Able to multitask
  • Maturity in handling confidential information
  • University Degree in Law
  • More years of experience in Corporate Law will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Liaise with the Land Registry, the tax office and other governmental authorities
  • Be responsible for the property transfer process
  • Manage the correspondence between the office and clients, associates or other authorities
  • Update records in company’s computer systems and databases;
  • Review the company’s files and organise all necessary documents
  • Perform an array of administrative tasks (calendar management, book travel, book facilities and equipment, manage meeting agendas)

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc or other certification or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of administrative experience
  • Ability to speak and write fluently both in Greek and English
  • Be practical and efficient with the work duties, colleagues, clients and other authorities
  • Ability to work methodically and have high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
