Carlos joined Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC in 2022 as an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Department.
He holds an LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) degree, an LL.M (Masters of Laws) degree in Human Rights & Social Justice from the University of Nicosia and an LL.M (Master of Laws) degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Bedfordshire.
Carlos was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2016 and since then he has been working as an advocate – legal consultant obtaining extensive knowledge and experience in, amongst others, litigation law & dispute resolution.
Carlos was certified as a licensed mediator for commercial and civil disputes by the Ministry of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus in 2021. In the same year, he successfully completed the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission’s (CySEC) Advanced Certificate and Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certificate.
